Contemporary Australian art inspired by the natural landscape.

Expressive landscape paintings inspired by places I’ve experienced, using bold colour and loose brushwork to capture atmosphere and emotion.

Current direction

I’m currently working on a collection of paintings inspired by a trip to Gundabooka National Park, near Bourke. The colours of the landscape have stayed with me in particular, especially the vibrant red dirt and the range of greens across the scrub and trees. Taken not long after the pandemic lockdowns, the trip also carries a strong sense of freedom, space, and release.
