Guide to starting a business

The business.gov.au (BGA) guide to starting a business provides information for people starting a business.
The design of the guide consisted of a series of tiled landing pages linking through to general information pages on BGA. Research indicated that users did not find the landing pages easy to use.
For this project, I re-designed the guide interface to have one single landing page. The landing page contains a series of numbered accordions containing the information links. User research on the new design found users liked navigating the content in this way. They were easily able to find information in each section. The stepped accordions also gave users a good understanding of the amount of content without being overwhelming.
